It was an awful experience. I usually stay at downtown convention center but this time stay close to university. We had two queen bed one of which the sheets were not changed bcz it was multiple contact lenses on the cover . Stove didn’t work and they send someone to fix it, he couldn’t figure out the problem . After complaining multiple time they response was $20 disconnected nightly rate. I would not stay there anymore .it is Runs by bunch of kids.

I have had to make multiple business trips to the university district in Seattle. I was happy to get into the Residence inn after trying other hotels that had openings for prior trips. This hotel is awesome and I would choose it for future travel and personal travel. Great location- can walk to meeting on university campus. Close to a grocery store and multiple restaurants including the famous u-ave. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Parking onsite feels secure and within the average price range. The room is awesome. We checked in for a one night stay to attend an appointment at Seattle Children’s Hospital. It was a recommended location. The website pictures are beautiful and the room itself looked exactly like the website. Here are the issues. The entire hotel is pet friendly. For dog lovers this is great news. We did not know we were in a pet room until we woke up the next morning with flea bites on our legs and feet. When we went to check out we noticed a sign on the back of the door that said “pet in room”. I went down and asked if we had been given a pet room and was told because it is a residence inn all of the rooms are pet rooms. Had we known that when we booked, we would not have stayed. The second issue is the location is not very safe. There are aggressive panhandlers outside and walking around outside did not feel safe. The third issue is the room looks right into an office building. We had to keep the curtains closed at all times or we had various people staring at us. We did inform the front desk about the bites and they comped the $37 parking but I wish we had known we were in a pet room. The front desk said if you call ahead they can do an extra 15 minute clean in the pet rooms. However without the website saying all rooms are pet rooms we had no way to know this The front desk said if

Hotel is an easy walk from the U District light rail station, and a slightly longer walk to the natural history museum. There is a Safeway nearby to stock up on food. Room was large and comfy, and staff friendly. We had a fair amount of trouble hooking up to the wifi - it took about twenty minutes plus a call to the help desk to get connected.

This is a residence inn, so the rooms are like a small apartment, with full-sized fridge, cooktop, and dishes and silverware supplied. Our "residence" was clean and modern. There was plenty of room to spread out, eat, etc. and the bathroom was spotless. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well even though the hotel was quite full. The provided breakfast was basic but tasty. Highly recommend if you are visiting the U of W or the UW Medical complex. Plenty of self-parking under the hotel.
